I've found my furever family!

Meet Yoda (aka Velcro), a 1.5-year-old Heeler-Feist-Hound mix with striking features that will steal your heart. Yoda has ultra-long legs and massive standing ears that are truly a marvel. When he's alert, he channels his inner Batman with a super cool face mask appearance. But most of the time, he's the picture of a happy Baby Yoda! True to his his heart-shaped markings, Yoda is a sweetheart, he is incredibly affectionate and loving.

He's fully housebroken and will give signals when he needs to go outside. As a young and active pup, he still has some puppy energy, daily exercises are necessary, but Yoda knows how to chill out. He's a pro at entertaining himself with toys and chews. He's respectful of belongings and won't destroy things he shouldn't, he can be left free roaming even when you leave the house! At bedtime, he sleeps soundly in his dog bed or right next to you, peaceful nights with no accidents or midnight zoomies. Yoda is super dog-friendly, making him a superstar in dog park. He's currently living with a senior foster sister and respects her boundaries well. While he has a strong prey drive and can't resist chasing scents and squirrels during walks, his foster family is helping him refine his leash-walking skills. Yoda is a highly athletic dog and could excel in dog sports like FastCAT or Barn Hunt. This guy loves exploring new places, going for car rides and playing in water! He's eagerly waiting for his forever family to embark on new adventures together!

Yoda was born in a Kentucky shelter and got adopted at 3 months old. But unfortunately, he found himself back at the shelter after 1 year because he didn't quite get along with adopter's cats. Despite waiting patiently for solid two months in his kennel, no one came forward to adopt him. That's when Rogers' Rescues stepped in to give this hidden gem a second chance.
