I've found my furever family!

If you are in search of the perfect beagle companion, Rufus is your boy! Abandoned at a KY shelter by his previous owner because of moving, Rufus is looking for his new home where he will never be left behind again. 

Rufus loves to snuggle on the couch with his humans and is also not opposed to snoozing the day away in a comfy dog bed. When not snoozing or cuddling, he likes to find a toy to toss around or a toy to chew on. He also loves to run around the backyard tossing and pouncing on toys too!

Rufus gets along with the three other dogs in the house and will romp and play with them. He also loves kids and happy runs and follows them around the yard. 

As he is a beagle, he his highly motivated by food. Have a treat? You have a new best friend for life!

Rufus will make a wonderful family dog. He loves being part of a family and wants nothing more than to have a family to call his own. He can hang in a crate and knows how to walk on a leash, although true to his beagle nose, he may get easily distracted by a good smell.

He is currently being fostered in Bethlehem, PA, waiting for his perfect home!
