Are you looking for the most perfect, happy-go-lucky doggie companion?? Look no further than adorable Plum! Once you meet this sweet girl, you won’t be able to stop smiling—she just loves everything and everyone.

  • Want to go for a walk? She is ready and will leap into her harness ready to go! She walks like a model dog on her leash and is happy to meet any person or dog on her walking adventure.
  • Toys? She is all about them. She alternates between cuddling with her ducks and removing their stuffing with surgical precision. Random squeaker already removed? She will pounce on it and chase it all about the room!
  • Did someone say naptime? She is all about that too. She adores her crate and is content to nap away in it with the door open or closed. When it comes to bedtime, she is pretty much done by 9:00 and needs to be peeled out her crate in order to relieve herself one last time for the night.
  • Doggie companions? Absolutely! She follows her foster siblings around as they check out the wildlife out the window or wait patiently at the bottom of the steps for her humans to come down them. She reads other dogs very well and gets along beautifully with everyone.
  • Kids? She can’t get enough of them. She loves people and is happy to get loving from anyone willing to give it.

So now that you have made it this far, let’s talk about Plum before she arrived in rescue. Plum was found as a stray and was clearly suffering from years of medical neglect. Chronic, untreated ear infections as a result of allergies are something she has likely experienced all her life. Upon arrival in foster care, we immediately had her seen by the vet to get her some relief. She has made tremendous progress with her ears while in our care through dietary changes and daily medication. Going forward, Plum will require a limited ingredient diet to help combat her allergies and chronic ear infections.

Plum is about 4-5 years old and ready to bring joy to whatever family is willing to give her a chance. She will make a wonderful companion for any household willing to give her a second chance. Please consider making her part of your family!

Please note this dog is currently being fostered in BETHLEHEM, PA.
