What a sweet dog! Cricket is a 10 month old, 15 pound Sheltie.  He is friendly and very social, everyone is his friend.  He is incredibly smart and already knows some basic commands. He thinks he is a lap dog and loves to drape himself across your lap as you watch TV.  Cricket is excellent with other dogs and loves to play with them.  He is 99% housetrained. Again, he is very smart, it won’t take him long to be fully housetrained. Please understand that he is young and still has some puppy tendencies.  He’s been pretty good about not chewing anything inappropriate but you have to keep your eye on him just in case.   He would benefit from further training. He needs to learn some manners and a little self-control.  Did I mention how smart he is?  He takes correction very well.  He aims to please and tries very hard to do the right thing.  Because he is young he is crated when we are not home.  He is not a fan of the crate and spends his time trying to get out of it.  Too bad Cricket, you are just going to have to get used to it until you grow out of your puppy phase.  Cricket gets very car sick, so if you are to the type that likes to take your dog everywhere you go then he Is not the dog for you.  He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.  I can’t say enough good things about how wonderful this little dog is.  Someone is going to be very lucky to have him.
