Poor little Candy finds herself surrendered to a large shelter, where she was at loss in her golden age. The fact that she was very well taken care of leaves us to believe that she must have been loved, and the previous owner was not able to take care of her anymore. At some point in her life, she received an expensive stabilizing double knee surgery, which is now being taken care of with medications and is normal in most senior dogs with arthritis.

Candy is a very darling white fluffy dog and seems to adjust very easily. She is calm, laid back, and likes to be around her people. She doesn't need a lot of exercise, but she likes going on slow leash walks or doing her rounds in the kitchen and the yard to keep her knees in check.

If you are looking for a loyal senior companion by your side, Candy might be your gal. She has been fully vetted by an expert, received a full dental, and is up-to-date on all her shots and preventatives.
