Meet Callie!!

Sweet and silly Callie is a 1 year old heeler/border collie mix that came from a overcrowded shelter in KY.

She was a shelter favorite, and her foster mom couldn’t resist breaking her out to help her find her forever home.

Callie is the SWEETEST dog you’ll ever meet. She is gentle with everyone, and wants to snuggle in your lap 100% of the time. Callie would do great with a family of any kind, and could live with kids of any age. 

Callie is currently in a foster home with 3 other large dogs and cats and does well with everyone! She is super tolerant of the other dogs bossing her around, and one hiss from the resident cat sends her running to the other room to hide! 

Callie is extremely vocal (as herding dogs tend to be) and has a variety of barks, growls, and grunts in her repertoire for every situation. She barks when she’s excited, growls for attention, and grunts when she wants to go outside. 

This girl is SUPER smart and learns so easily. After being in her foster home merely days, Callie can already point to the dog food with her nose when she knows it's breakfast time, and bumps the leash when she wants to go out for a potty break. Callie has the ability to learn so many tricks, and would thrive with a job or in a sport!
