I've found my furever family!

Hi There!  I'm Bentley!  I'm a 4 yr old neutered tri-colored Border Collie!  I would love a better living arrangement than I had in the past.  I was taken from a home in WV that was littered with trash and cats.  The authorities stepped in as the adult in the home was threatening to kill the children and the living conditions were horrible!  Despite my not-so-great previous living situation, I'm super well behaved!  I know to do my business outside and chill out when inside.  I'm snuggly with all the people in my foster home and have taken a real liking to the men/boys in my home!  I even love on strangers that come to the house.  I get along with the other 2 resident dogs (young border collie and old aussie) and love to sniff and explore the yard.  I walk nicely on a leash and am fine when you leave the house.  I like to sleep right next to my foster Mom or Dad, on the floor next to their bed.  I don't know what these things called "toys" are but the other border collie keeps running around with them so maybe I will try this out one day.  My coat used to by dry and itchy and balding in spots as I had lots of fleas at my old place, but now my fur is growing back and with a nice bath and the great food I'm getting now, my fur looks so shiny and healthy!  I'm hoping to find a family that will make me an integral part of their lives and do fun things with me!  I'm pretty laid back for a Border Collie but still would love to go on walks or hikes and stay active. I love to ride in the car so I'm up for family vacations too!

Bentley is about 53 lbs and is up to date on all shots and preventives.  Bentley is being fostered in Watchung, NJ.  This handsome well-behaved seemingly pure bred Border Collie is a total catch!
