Calling all Husky lovers!!

There is no way you can resist that face! Badger is a 4 month old husky puppy that is looking to find his forever family. Badger was found as a stray in Kentucky, and you could tell he had been living on the street! Poor Badger was super skinny and had clearly never seen a house before.

At first, Badger was very unsure of his surroundings, but he has been making big strides and learning how to be a dog! He had his first puppy zoomies just yesterday, and is slowly figuring out how to play with toys. Badger is fully crate trained as he feels safer in his crate and has had very few accidents in the house. He was in a kennel with 5 other dogs at the shelter in Kentucky, and the shelter employees said that he was SUCH a good boy around them! In his foster home, Badger lives with 3 large dogs. He is very submissive and respectful with them.

Badger is still coming out of his shell, and will require some work with leash walking. He only likes to walk where HE wants to go (because he is, in fact, a husky). Otherwise he will lay down on the ground and roll onto his back. He sticks to his foster mom like glue and will sit on her lap for hours watching TV. He’s like a little shadow and follows his foster mom wherever she goes in the house or in the yard.

Badger would do best going to a home that has the time and energy to really work with him on training and socialization. He could really fit in anywhere as long as his owner is really committed to making sure he grows up to be a well rounded boy.
