I've found my furever family!

Maple is a sweet girl who came to us after receiving treatment for heartworm.  She has obviously not had an easy life.  She was painfully thin, skittish around people, and initially seemed uncomfortable being indoors.  But dogs are amazing creatures and it is amazing how much progress she has made in just a few days of being in foster care!  She has warmed up to everyone, and will follow her foster mom everywhere.  She is very comfortable around the resident dogs and will try to play with them.  She is thriving on a routine, good food, calm environment, and lots of love.

Maple responded well to her heartworm treatment, and the vet believes she will live a long, healthy life.  We hope that she finds the perfect forever family to give her the love and care she so deserves!
