ABOUT:
Do you want a new BFF? Do you have kids that want a new BFF? How about a dog that’s ready for a BFF? Any or all of these, Bowser’s your guy! This 5-year old coonhound, who may never have had a home or a family before, overflows with love for people big and small. He’s most content when the whole family is settled in one room and he can snuggle right in. If power-cuddling were an Olympic sport, he’d win gold!
Bowser LOVES going on long walks with his family to explore the neighborhood. He loves the resident dogs, and they were instrumental in getting him settled into his foster home. They chase squirrels together in the backyard, wrestle, and will even cuddle with each other at naptime. He has the BEST bark, a long, deep, coonhound howl! And if you’re not won over yet, wait till you see his big goofy grin. Check his YouTube video above to get the full Bowser effect.
Of course, no one’s perfect. Being a coonhound with a strong prey drive, Bowser is not a friend to cats. He’ll also want to chase squirrels, rabbits, leaves, and his shadow, so a fenced yard would be a big plus. And he’d be thrilled with a doggie sibling or two.
Bowser's perfect forever family is one that has the time and patience to help him continue with the amazing progress he has made - ideally, an active family to take him on long walks or hikes, play with him, and make him a beloved part of the family.
